UNIFORM SEASON! It is that time of year again. Time to purchase uniforms. Here are some tips from the experts to make your this season easy.
Students don't always make payments as planned or fundraisers go bad. Make deadlines 2-3 weeks prior to give everyone time to get all funds in. 3. MEASURE EARLY. Even if you are not ordering for a month or so. Start measuring early. Students are absent and it makes it hard to get everyone's measurements at the last minute. 4. GET QUOTES TOGETHER AFTER YOU KNOW YOUR BUDGET. It is best to know what you can spend rather than anticipate. You may be choosing something completely out of your budget. Then back to square one and a lot of disappointed students. 5. MAKE FUND RAISERS AVAILABLE. In today's world with the bad economy and more you need to make fund raisers available to help subsidize their uniforms. If students can't afford it, they won't participate making numbers very low. 6. UNIFORMS SIZING. If the group and not the individual owns the uniforms it is best to purchase a range of sizes to fit all body types. Every year you do not get the same size students. 7. CHOOSING UNIFORMS. Choose styles that look good on all figures. You want all members comfortable and happy. They will be more confident if they feel good in their uniform and perform better. Let the group vote on a couple of styles that you have narrowed it down too. It is important to make them feel that they are a part of it. CHECK OUT OUR BLOGS MONTHLY FOR NEW TIPS ON CHEER & DANCE. |
